Philine Sonny is immediate. Her music compels you to want to dance, cry, scream, and you’ll want to roll the windows down and go for an endless drive. The alternative singer-songwriter and producer is a master of hook-packed, guitar driven pop catharsis, and she’s only just getting started. A self-described “loner” and introvert, Philine grew up in a small German city, spending much of her free time hunkered down in her bedroom, where she taught herself how to write and produce. A DIY approach has always been instilled with Philine’s creative endeavors. Being positioned early on as an emerging talent to watch by the likes of Wonderland and Notion, Philine has already caught international attention with her unmatched ear, intimate live sets, and eclectic taste, which ranges from Sam Fender, Clairo, Holly Humberstone, Ben Howard, Bryan Adams, Bleachers, and her all-time favorite, Bruce Springsteen.
