M. Lucky is an artist from Amsterdam, born in Yokohama and raised in Singapore. In a city that moves quickly and is starting to look like a theme park and her music reflect these weird times. In her own words: „I’m a band from Amsterdam.“ „Tasks“ is the first single of her upcoming album called „Good Entertainment“, which is full of songs that feverishly reflect on the dystopian city Amsterdam has become. „Tasks“ is a self-soothing song about realizing loneliness and hurtful feelings are not things you can go through by putting them on your to-do list and then, on a planned moment, going through them. Seems logical, turns out to be hard to deal with sometimes. Life will flow wherever it flows, and feelings will too, while your list of tasks will continue to grow, maybe not in the same direction.
