James started releasing DIY bedroom pop in his late teens, quickly establishing a name in Vienna’s indie scene. In 2015 a rooftop performance by his song „Coming Over“ became a viral hit, remixed by EDM heavyweights filous, Kygo and Dillon Francis. In 2017 his worldwide debut „Miss You“ brought James his second and third gold certifications, and filled up his touring schedule. His 2021 album features legendary Canadian funk-duo Chromeo on the single „Closer“. James’ upcoming album takes a sonic step towards his live shows with a focus on indie-rock instrumentation and musicianship. Known for his poignant skills as a writer, his lyrics share poetic insights into life as an artist, revealing tales of hope, heartbreak and loss.
