FISHBACH

Fishbach is from Charleville-Mézières (a small town in East of France, home of poète noir Arthur Rimbaud) and her voice goes from a soft and almost gentle whisper to a rugged and loud chant, deep and incantatory. Flora left school when she was still a teenager and did all kind of small jobs before turning to music. After playing in several band, she started writing her own material. She soon recorded her 1st demos, using only a laptop, a cheap microphone and a battered telecaster. On stage, she adopts a charismatic and androgyne figure, a pop character between Kate Bush and Ian Curtis.
